Vinod Khanna is killed for no wrong of his own, but for bitterness of Kabir Bedi. The ending with a DDLJ dialogue! Such a pain! I believe the same story with a better director who can handle drama could have been sure shot fire! But Rohit fails to handle it properly, the fact is one needs a proper villain for such a film, people have died in the past, and more importantly SRK loses a father and one fails to see his pain for the same. So it all leads to that the Varun-Kirti never know the flashback! Such a downer!ġ3) The movie shall do average business, might wrap around 100-140 crores.ġ4) It is the drama, where one feels let down, and the unoriginal sequences between Kajol and SRK. And ok, she takes the shot more drama, than Kaali should kill or do something real bad to Boman. And if Boman is shooting at SRK, I expected Kajol (Meera) to shoot or do something like that, rather than taking the shot. It had to be serious, it can’t be the funny guy Boman. The characters other than leads are half baked and not developed properly.Ĩ) The movie takes so many inspirations : Hum, Mission Impossible 2, DDLJ, Fast and Furious, K3G, How I met your mother etc…ĩ) Seriously Kajol what were you thinking, you came back for this?ġ0) The music in action sequences and important occasions ( like the meeting of the two families) is copied/inspired from Con Air.ġ1) All through the movie there is build up of the scene when Kaali is made known to everyone else other than kajol and his henchman, but the scene is such a downer in the climax.
Pathetic! The fact that the two families meet and there is no security arrangement! The fact that Kaali and Meera who are so smart don’t want protection for either of their families! Vinod Chopra doubts Kabir Bedi shall agree, but still walks into his mansion like a lamb!ħ) The Drama never picks up, but the second half is a release and bearable and hence I could continue with the film. But I couldn’t!Ħ) Kaali the name is lame. I say audience often makes the leap, but it has to be believable, one needs to feel for character. But I thought at that point that may be I alone was not liking it, but it happened that many people were heard saying the film is boring during interval.ĥ) The problem with the film is it that it combines comedy and drama, and the hence the latter comes across as fake or unbelievable.
Just Back from Dilwale, had gone with family.Ģ) I was quite excited for the movie, but the same wears off in the opening 20 minutes when you get to see fake romance of varun-kirti.ģ) By the time of the interval, I felt I could have walked out, weak first half.
