Click on the gear icon for settings in the Google Drive app.
Set default file permissions for shared files:
To let them edit the file, click on the ellipsis icon and Grant Edit Access.
To give members 'read-only' access, click on the ellipsis icon, and Grant View Access.
You can choose to do this for each file, or set a default option for all files you share. Once you share a file in a chat or channel, you'll need to give channel members access to view or edit the file.
Flock automatically creates a preview of the file and shares it in the chat/channel.
Click on the share icon next to the file and select the chat/channel to share to.
The app will search for a match in both file names and the content of each file.
Click on My Drive and search for the file.
In the browser window that is launched, login to your Google Drive account, and give Flock the required permissions.Īlternately, you can click on Google Drive in the Attachment Picker.
